Hi, I'm trying to setup a ring network using 3 computers each with 2 network cards. the problem im getting is getting the 2 network cards to talk to each other so i can complete the ring. Any ideas how to do it in Windows 2000 professional. PC1 can talk to PC2 and PC2 can talk to PC3 but PC1 cant talk to PC3 through PC2 which is what im trying to achieve.

Thanks

Luke

why o why would you wanna make it so hard on yourself...Get a hub, assign all pc's adresses in the same range, and they will talk to each other. The hub will cost you less then the 3 nic's.

Yeh its actually a college project. Were doing about the different network topologys and one of them is the ring. few of the lads tried it today and yesterday but no luck without using a server or Windows XP to bridge the connections.

Is there a way to do it in Windows 2000

thanks for the reply RMGBELGIUM
