I'll preface this by saying that I know very little about our phone system but my boss wanted me to research this question one of our users had.
Basically she has a desk and conference table with a phone on the desk and doesn't want to have to get up from the conference table to answer it when it rings. Our phone rep says it is possible to bridge two phones together using the same extension, IE call 1200 both phones ring. My boss doesn't want to sacrifice another extension for her 2nd phone.
What is the best way to do this, if even possible? Is it a programming fix or a wiring fix? Worst case we can use another extension if necessary but would prefer not to.
Hopefully this is clear enough and I will try to answer any questions you have.
