Bridged Appearances and Voicemail/Busy Buttons

The scenario.. I have a user who has two phones (9608's). One is the primary extension (12345) and the other is a non-DID extension (22334).

I have the second phone programmed with the following:
BUTTON ASSIGNMENTS
1: brdg-appr B:1 E:12345 R:r 5: autodial 5544
2: brdg-appr B:2 E:12345 R:r 6:
3: brdg-appr B:3 E:12345 R:r 7:
4: call-appr Auto-A/D? n Rg:r 8:

voice-mail 33334

Now the issue is when I hit the MESSAGE Button or any busy-ind button, the bridged appearance just flashes and will not make the call.

I need this bridged appearance phone to call voice mail of 12345 when button is pressed as well as the busy-ind buttons.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Try changing Auto Select Any Idle Appearence on page 2 of station form to Y

have you tried changing the vm number on pg4 on the station form

I have. I even performed a long test on the station. Same results.

You seem to have X-12345 showing up on buttons 1,2 and 3 ( on the brdg phone ) correct ? On the bridged phone, Try putting the brdg-appr 12345 on buttons two and three and the X-22334 on button 1 of the NON-primary phone
