Bridged Appearance rings on side module and main phone display

9611(Firmware 6.6029 h.323) incoming call rings side module and rings on main display as well. Any way to make them ring on side module only?

The side module is an expansion unit (EU24). It adds buttons to a phone. It is not a phone of its own. Calls will flash on the unit and caller id will show on the phone.

Given that, there are some controls but they affect the phone and the EU24. I am assuming you are using bridged appearances of another extension. Bridged call alerting and Per button ring control are on the 2nd tab of the station screen. with per button ring control you can change aspects of the ring on the bridged calls on the screen where the button is configured.

Appreciate the response. we need the bridged appearance to ring on the side module but it also rings on the main phone display also. i would like it to ring only on the side module

Which of the exts are you having this issue with?
Also I am still a bit puzzled ,are you saying that the expansion module itself is ringing ( not flashing ) but ringing along with the 9611 phone ringing separately?

the expansion module rings but the main phone shows the same call ringing

I doubt the expansion module is ringing, it's most likely flashing on the bridged app key and ringing the phone itself so working as designed!

I never seen the expansion mod ring just flash, so that is different. Idk

to prove this to yourself, turn phone ringer off or down, call phone and you will only see the eu24 flash and no ring. Case closed

It does both so that you can see, on the main display, the information about the incoming call.

Like I said, the EU24 is just additional buttons for the phone. To do what you want you need another phone on the desk.
