All,

I have several (5 or so) admin assistants that have access to the CEO's extension. Roughly 2 or 3 times a day, two of them will pick up the phone at the same time--or seconds after--so the outside party and the two admins are conferenced together. They all need to have this number so removing it is not an option. I have researched several things on support.avaya... but have yet to receive a definitive answer. These are 2420 sets with cm 2.2 S8500.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Joe

Advise the assistants that once the button goes solid, someone has answered the call or use a coverage answer group instead of bridged appearances

I am guessing, by your statements, that you are asking if there is a why to allow the bridged appearences to be picked up exclusively. If that is the case, I believe the answer is to use a COS which has Auto Exclusion set to "y".

Yes, that is what I was asking... I did not see a setting for this in the cha cos page. Is it somewhere else?

You have to activate it on the cha sys fea last page. Then it will appear in your COS form...

Thanks,
CJH
