Hello Pros,

I have a user on an IPO 9.0.3 that has bridged appearance keys of her boss' extension. This user would like to forward her calls, including bridged calls to other extensions when she is not available. After reading about this on the KB, I don't think it's possible to have bridged calls included in forwarding. Does anyone have any suggestions for a workaround? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried the Follow me to feature? This may work.

You need to forward from both extensions Give the bird a login code and she can do it from the same handset.

Her logging in as her boss' extension would log her boss out and make her boss log back in correct? If that happens, I think she'll get fired.

When she logs out his extension on her handset it will return to its base extension.
If a boss does things like that he doesn't deserve to be in charge of a human being anyway.
People like that need to be confronted.

What's their external IP address and monitor password?

Ha! I was joking about getting fired, but no boss would like that. Good to hear it would go back to its base ext. For some reason I thought it kept the original phone in a logged out state. Thanks for the info.

Use mobile twinning for her and forward his phone to hers. make sure Forwarded calls are eligible for twinning on her phone. That should get you what you want.

That would do the forwarding, but I think it would permanently change the way the assistant see's her boss' calls come into her phone right?

My assumption would be you only turn it on when needed. Otherwise yes you are right.
