I am new here so be kind. Anyway...my question is, can two locations with conference lines be able to link together? Here is the details. We have two offices connected together by way of a P2P for in house extension calling and voice mail. Each location has their own phone system using the IP406.
There is a conference line at each location. I want to create a unified conference line where the users in the south dial a short code or direct dial from an outside line and meet up with callers in the north who do the exact same thing. The reason for this is if all users dial into one or the other it uses up the available lines at the particular location. I figured that splitting the load between them would work. 10 people dial into the south conference line and 10 into the north conference line yet both lines lead to the same conference room across the P2P. South confrm600 and north confrm600 are both one and the same confrm600
Is this possible or is there a better way? Like take the north conference line 400 and take the south conference line 500 and make them talk to each other.
