Bricl level backup at 2.66MB per min

hey everyone,

As the title suggests my brick level backup is crawling along. Brightstor (fully patched) is on its own W2K SP4 server and backs up exchange 2k (fully patched) across the network. They are also on the same switch together. Whats odd is that it used to be at about 90 mb per min which I could live with. Can anybody out there suggest any way I could find out why it has slowed down so much for what appears to be no reason. I really dont know where to start looking.

Hi Duran,

I have the same problem. I have win2k with SP4 and ARCServe 2000 with SP5. And 1 months after instalation SP5 on arcserve I backup exchange brick level 11 MB/min. Before this patch I backup 70 MB/min. I backup cca 6 GB of exchange mailbox, it is so long time to backup.

may not be relevant - but I had a performance issue after SP4. Came down to install of client agent:
