Hi
I am trying to do a brick level restore. My setup is Win2k with Exchange 2000 and i have ArcServe 2000 with the Exchange Agent.
I get the following error :
E3150 Unable to connect to network drive. DRIVE=\\MAILSERVER\ADMIN$, EC=NO SUCH LOGON SESSION)

Any ideas?

Thanks
Dennis

Hello,

I am having the exact problem as you do, except that instead of the message EC=NO SUCH LOGON SESSION, I get LOGON FAILURE, but the error is E3150 as well.
Did you ever fix it? How?

I would appreciate your help,

thanks in advance.

Had similar problems a few months ago.

Firstly need to be sure that you have the correct Exchange Backup Agent installed.

Uninstall the Backup Agent for Exchange on the Exchange server and then download service pack 3 of ARCserve 2000 from the Url given below:
Then extract the patch QO05692.caz using the CAZIPXP utility . You will get a file called sp3.exe,extract this file using Winzip, Go to the Exchange.dba folder from the Extracted folder and run the setup.exe which will install the new Exchange agent .Then apply service pack 4 of ARCserve 2000 on the Exchange Agent from the Url given below:
Once this correct version of the Backup Agent for Exchange 2000 has been installed, all you then need to do is ensure you are using the correct dbagent account and password for blick level and db level.

Believe me that I tried everything to get this product working with Exchange, but once I had the correct info from CA (from someone who knows), then it worked.

Hope this help, Regards Diggs.

Hi Mespe

It's so long ago...as far as i remember i did install a fix from CA. Try the suggestion of Diggs.

Good luck
Dennis

Thanks for the help, it works now.

I already had service pack 4 so, I only had make sure I was using the correct account and password for brick level and db level.

One more thing: when submitting the job on the final window, it will ask you for the username and password, I entered it with the format domain\username. ALSO when you clicked there is an Edit button, I clicked there and it asked again for the user and password and also the ip address of the destination machine, I entered there the exchange's ip address.

thanks!
