Trying to set up a M5317TDX set on an 11C using MISP and UILC. Plugging set directly into PE cable with jack. No trunking on this, just the set.BRIL
If anyone is interested I will post my printouts.
Thanks!

Check out NTP 553-3011-311. Since you are using a UILC, you will also need an NT1 to convert from a U to an S/T interface.

I did not think the conversion was a requirement.

The document states it is needed when a conversion from U to S/T interface is required.

Do you know differently?

UILC cards are 2-wire, and the NT1 converts the circuit to a 4-wire S/T going into the phone. All ISDN phones I have seen require 4 wires. If you were using SILC cards, they are 4-wire, and then the NT1 would not be required.

Staabj, is the dial tone supplied by the ISDN or the switch? I am in a lab environment and want to provide dt to the 5317.
Tanks
