Break Frame Document into Seperate Files by Map

I am looking for a way to easily break multi-Map FrameMaker documents into individual documents containing only one Map each. This capability will make it easier to publish individual Maps as separate Web pages, and provides the potential to take an existing document, chunk it and store the individual Maps and files in a content management system.

Can you explain what do you mean with maps? That is, are we talking about an FM document with many geographical (or such) maps inside? If this is the case it can easily be done with a custom FDK client.
