Ok, I have a BPS2000 running BOSS 3.0.0.54. In CLI, there is a "config network" command that the docs say will load an ASCII config, via TFTP, into the switch. Where does this config come from? I can't find a command to SAVE a text config, only READ a text config. Is there a known format for this config?

Also, is it expected for the BPS to reset its local passwords subsequent to a TFTP input of a binary config file? Mine always goes back user/secure. Everything else seems to have remained with the config file.

Thanks,

Andy.

Hi,

I Had the same problem, but it seams that in the new BoS version ( 3.1 - Released on March ) , the Ascii configuration generator is available.

Best Regards,

Nicolas

Nicolas,

Thanks for the FYI. They should have just waited until 3.1 to include the command to read in the text config. [thumbsdown]
