I need to install an Operator workstation and connect to BP250. I was expecting a terminal adapter unit but got a TSR9010472/3R1A cable.(V24 to DB9).

How do i connect my PC,the phone and the BP250?

Thanks.

hi Echo
the bp250 operator workstation requires 2 com ports, one from a TAU connected to the console and the other from the CPU board for integration.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are not.

Thanks RFBOI for the information.I'll work on getting the TAU.

No... You are completely wrong...
OWS works with Businesslink.....
The cable you got is to connect to the V24 Ports on the CPU.
You then also have to set up the following
6006 11
6007 1 (US ASCII)
6009 14 (19200Bps)
6011 NO
6012 CTI

And also set up the port in the CTI parameters (i cant remember the command off the top of my head... maybe 3901???)

Then Set up Businesslink server on a PC (usually a server but can be the OWS PC depends how close the OWS PC is to the system).
Install the Businesslink Client on the OWS PC
Install OWS and whalla it should work
