Hi,

I have customer with a doorintercom. He wants to have 3 cell phones ringing when a client initiates a call at the doorintercom.
I do not have any Mobile Extension licenses available on the system.

Is it possible to accomplish such setup? I have tried to program a 'Cyclical call distribution' group with 3 fictive numbers that are being forwarded to the external cell phones.

The problem is that the system does not allow me to place the fictive numbers in the group. How can I accomplish such setup?

All cell phones need to ring at the same time.
Btw. what is the difference between a Cyclical call distribution group and a sequential call distribution group, and a parallel distribution group?

Kind regards,

This is possible with mobile extensions in a parallel pbx group.
Without mobile extension I think this is not possible.

Cyclical - finds longest free extension in a hunt group
Sequential - hunts the extensions in a hunt group in order they were I initiated in the system
Parallel Ring is not a group, it is where you set several handsets to ring at the same time

These only work for internal numbers.

Mobile extensions allocates an internal number to a mobile and they can be used as above. This is what you are trying to do - You must have mobile extension licensing to do what you need, you put the internal number in the parallel ring list that is mapped to the mobile.

Only alternative - set up a generic internal extension and use personal number to call the 3 mobiles one after the other, but they will not ring at the same time. If one of the mobiles is switched off (vacant number not voicemail) then it will go onto the next mobile immediately.

@parnum: how can I configure the MX ONE/MD110 feature personal number in a BP250?
