Hi,

Anyone got any ideas why my BRI on my MFU card would lock up?

It appears to always be channel B1 and will not release/allow new calls to come in on any other channel unless you reboot the MFU? Also if you try to seize the trunk to make an outgoing call you get "Congestion"?

Any ideas anyone?

Do you use latest version of eprom/eeprom sets for MFU?

Yes I have the latest software in the MFU.

Is there any known problems with MFU and BRI links/connections?

You may try to trace the problem with PSTN provider, sometimes ISDN NT terminals gets blocked.
They seem to give logical link to BP but if you make a trace in BTUD when making a phone call towards that BP you may see nothing entering in BP. Have you tried making a trace with a call to that BP?

Hi,

I have run a trace when it becomes blocked (By resetting the MFU the issue clears).

What I am seeing is a call comes in on B1 which is blocked at this point and the BP128 then requests that channel B2 be used but the call does not come through and we get a code 34.

As I said the only way to get calls to come back in is reset the MFU board? Does this make sense?

Really appreciate any help or suggestions, is there any settings on the BP I could try that are not default?

Check with provider if BRA services are point-to-point or point-to-multipoint. BP require point-to-point (here in AU default is multipoint)...
