I am in the process of setting up a new BOXI r2 system. I have a folder setup with a report and a group linked to it with view on demand access. When I login as a user in that group, I expect to be able to see these links; view, schedule, history and properties. I don't see view, just the others.

Any ideas out there on what I might be missing?

Thanks

History shows you the list of instances created as a result of previously run schedules. Only a Schedule will produce a historical instance. Once a Historical instance is created a new link called View latest Instance will also appear.

Clicking on the report name is "View on Demand". This runs the report instantaneously and whilst it generates a new copy of the report for viewing, it does not generate a historical instance.

Scheduled reports are processed by the Crystal Reports Job Server for a Crystal Report, Web Intelligence Job Server and Web Intelligence Report Server for a WEBI report, and the Desktop Intelligence Job Server and Desktop Intelligence Report Server for a DESKI report.

View on Demand reports are processed by the Crystal Reports Page Server for a Crystal Report, Web Intelligence Report Server for a WEBI report and Desktop Intelligence Report Server for a DESKI report.

If your users choose to use the Advanced DHTML Viewer instead of the ActiveX, Java or HTML viewers then View on Demand reports are processed by the Report Application Server.

Thank you both for your answers. I've been in the CE 10 world for so long I forgot view on demand changed.
