Bound check box not updating in table 1

My form (continuous form) has only two objects. A bound text box and a bound check box in the detail section. The check box is bound to a yes/no field in my table. When I select a check box it does not update the table field until I click in a second check box. Thus I can not select just one check box and the last box I check does not update the table field.

Also the form shows a check box for a new record that I do not want to show on my form.

I am using the form to select the items that I want to include in a report.

You have to set focus to a different record in order to save.

To get rid of the new record line, set the forms [blue]Allow Additions[/blue] property to [blue]No[/blue]

Can I set the focus to a different record in order to save when I press a button that I have on the form that opens a report.

In the Click event procedure of the button, before launching the report:
Me.Dirty = False
