Hi Guys,

I just bought a used lucent 103G4, I would like to configure it but honestly I dont know how to do it. Im only used to BCM and connect to a static IP.

I was wondering if any of u guys got the manual or the way to connect to it.

I tried the F59 and got the ACS R2.0 C01. Thats the only feature I found for this phone system.

Thanks for you time/help.

Alex

support.avaya.com will have the manual. It's the Avaya Partner ACS R2, but you may have to download the r6 or something. Most features are the same, if you try a feature it doesn't allow, it won't let you.

Avaya's support website has everything you need in the way of Partner documentation for free: support.avaya.com

Happy reading!

The Partner ACS is a fairly easy system to program from a system telephone connected to extension 10 or 11.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

when I connect with extension 10 or 11.. Do I need to enter in some sort of config mode??

thx.

Now that im able to configure it.. I got another question..

All my ports are IP even my land lines, how can I convert my telephone line into an RJ-45... do I need a PBX or a Centrex to be use my phone system?

Your service provider should be able to furnish a device that will convert IP to TDM.

You would take the output of that device and wire it to standard 4p4c jacks. From there you would plug each line into the Partner ACS.

If it ain't broke, I haven't fixed it yet.

thanks a lot Dexman... Its really appreciated.
