both IE & Netscape load VERY slow

hi.
I have both I.E 6.0 and netscape 6.0, and I am currently finding that both take ages to load! netscape loads after about 10-20 seconds, IE can take up to 5 minutes!!! This is ridiculous, if anyone's wondering that the IE problem is due to the distribution not being stable as yet, I also had the same problem with I.E 5.0

It's also nothing to do with my computer's performance, I have a fairly fast computer running Win98, and every other program (even large ones like Photoshop) load in no time.

If ANYONE knows anything that may be causing these delays in my internet browsers, please let me know!
I would be very grateful!

Are you starting ie or netscape with an internet connection or without.

You need to describe your problem a bit more clearly in order for your problem to be resolved.

Try the following,

Launch ie first holding down the shift key then repeat for netscape and tell me if that makes any difference. <!-- Killroy -->
