the boss has delegated his calender to the Sect.
Sect is able to go to File, Other users folder, yada yada and is able to view the Boss calender.

the Sect was wondering if there is a way for the Boss' calendar to appear as one of her folders on her folders list.
I went into Tools, Services, Exchange, Advance and added the boss name. only choice was inbox.

The Sect outlook now has the Boss' mailbox but can't access anything on there, not even the calendar.

is there a way to have the boss' calendar appear on the Sect folder list????

thanks in advance

You can not have it as a folder, but you could add it to the outlook bar which would give her a quick shortcut to it.

Hopes this helps!

Yes, you can have access to the calendar via the folder list.

First of all, the boss needs to give the secretary access to his calendar. From within Outlook, right-click calendar, go to Properties, Permissions tab. Add the secretary and set the appropriate security level (maybe Reviewer if she doesn't need to be able to edit items, or Editor if the boss wants her to be able to add appointments etc).

Now, it can take quite a while for the permissions to filter through at this point. I have sometimes left it overnight to be on the safe side lol!

Anyway, once this has happened you should be able to see the calendar in the folder list. Any problems, let me know - I have implemented this for lots of people =)
