In a table i have set the border="1" and bordercolor="#FFFFFF" . In the cells then i have set bgcolor="red".

In internet explorer this works fine but in netscape or mozilla the border shows up as being grey.

any ideas how to make it white or transparent in netscape

From my experience, Netscape just likes gray borders and that's that. To make it transparent, why don't you just make border=0 and then set the cellpadding up a bit.

cellspacing done the trick.
thanks
