My wife's CMOS battery died (she runs WIN XP SP3). I replaced it & since then, it won't boot. When I turn on the PC, I get a black screen with the following message: 'Turn off computer and re-install jumper to normal mode' I've already moved the jumper from the default position to the 2nd and 3rd pins & back to 1st & 2nd pins. Still get the same message. Unplugged the PC & removed the CMOS battery for about 1 hour. Re-installed the battery powered up the PC which brought up setup, entered the correct time & day, saved changes and rebooted. Got the same black screen with the same message. Can anybody help me resolve this issue?
Thanks for any ideas, Bob
