Hello,
Should the boot.ini file in win xp be in drive c:? And should it look like this?

[boot loader]
timeout=1
default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(2)partition(1)\WINDOWS
[operating systems]
multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(2)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect

Also in disk management the drives are listed in this order F:(clone)D(c:partition):G:(f:partition)C:(System)E:

I just cloned the 3rd scsi drive with symantec ghost 2003 running win xp pro. The cloning was sucsessful. The problem is when I remove the cloned drive the sysem will not boot to windows. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Peace To You And Yours

You should prepare the drive with sysprep, the Symantec site has a step by step procedure posted at :-

I know that now, but the drive is already cloned I am afraid if I format or fdisk the pc won't boot up. When I remove the cloned drive the sysem will not boot to windows.
