Why is it useless? Can you recommend something else?
It does not cover everything(topics) which is suppose to be on the test. Oracle provides the test content and if one compares it with the book it falls short. A better option but still not close would be the book by Couchman.
I have used the Oracle Student Guide and STS test along with Couchman to prepare for the first 2 test in Developer Track and found them to be very useful.
Allen's book looks like a cut and paste job from Couchman's book. Both r published bt Oracle Press.
If u can get hold of Student Guide and STS it saves lots of time and are good tools to pass the test.

The name of Couchman book is "Application developer Exam Guide: by Jason Couchman & Christopher Allen.
ISBN 0072119756.
Allen is the same author of the other book i mentioned and it looks like he did a cut and paste job. So if u intend to spend money go for the couchman's book rather then Allen's.
If u live in US visit They have these books at cheaper price or go to e-bay.

I am looking for a book for doing certification on OCP Internet application developer,Oracle forms developer Rel.6/6i. Deos the above book cover forms 6i also. Please clarify.

I have the same book and it talks abt oracle 5 (keep in mind that upgrade from forms 5 to 6 & 6i were thru patches and hence they r not considered a major upgrade). Check out the following link.
It covers forms 5.0 when these test were called Build Forms I & Build Forms II for release 2.1, but from test persepective there is not much difference b/w Forms 5 & 6 & 6i. 1z0-121 & 1z0-131 r identical in course content while 1z0-122 & 1z0-132 r almost 85% common. Then only advantage with couchman's book is that it also covers 1z0-001, 101 & 123 (reports).
I f u r looking for a book exclusively written for Forms 6i then get Allens book. The only problem is that it only talks abt the two forms test 1z0-131 & 1z0-132 and does not include the 1z0-001, & 1z0-101. And if u compare it with couchman's book there r lots of similarities. there r probably other books from oracle press to cover the 1z0-001 & 1z0-101.
So it is upto u if u want more bang for ur buck.

I recently appeared for the IZ0-132 exam and could not clear it. I used the book OCP building Internet Applications exam guide by Allen and I also prepared from realquestions.net
I felt that the Allens book does not cover topics in detail.
I passed all the earlier 3 exams in 1st attempt and with nearly full score. I prepared for all exams from the Oracle Press exam specific books.
Can someone advise what books i should refer to pass this last exam.
Please respond at earliest.
