I have a bookmark field that needs to be in currency format ie 25000 needs to be displayed as $25,000.00
I have tried {MERGEFIELD Amount \# "$,0.00; ($0.0)"} and that is not working.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks

Angie

Is this a MergeField or is it a Bookmark?

Then the essential piece of information is that it is a MERGFIELD, not a bookmark.

How about
[tt]
{MERGEFIELD Amount (\# $#,###.00)}

[/tt]

This WORKS.
[tt]
{MERGEFIELD "Amount" \# $#,###.00}
[/tt]

Hi Angie,

In your mailmerge main document:
. select the MERGEFIELD field that pulls in the value;
. press Shift-F9 to reveal the field coding. It should look something like {MERGEFIELD MyData};
. edit the field so that you get {MERGEFIELD MyData \# "$,0.00;($,0.00)"};
. position the cursor anywhere in this field and press F9 to update it;
. run your mailmerge.

Cheers
