I would only like to copy the bookmarks from some PDF files. I care nothing about the the other text within the document. Can this be done?

Thanks in advance.

There is an option under the Batch procesing menu option (File > Batch Processing). There should be an option called 'Copy Bookmarks from doc'. If you can't see it, you may need to get hold of your product cd and copy all the batch commands into the following location (assuming default install and this is for Acrobat 5):

C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 5.0\Acrobat\Sequences\ENU

Not all of them are installed when you first install Acrobat.

If sunflower oil comes from sunflowers, and vegetable oil comes from vegetables, where does baby oil come from?

Hi Mark. Thanks so much for this info. I copied all the sequ files from the disk. When i tried to copy the bookmarks from an active document in adobe to a selected files folder, i saw everything processing, but when i went to open the files from the folders, i didn't see the bookmarks that i had copied. three of the bookmarks are menu items and one is an open file item. Any insight on this. This would really be helpful for me. Thanks a lot.

Ken, try the 'List all bookmarks' command instead and see if that does what you want.
