I have set up an email address for our conference room so that when some one needs to book the room they just send it an email with start time and end time, if some one else send an email to book the room it will send back saying that it is already booked CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW TO AUTOMATICALY BOOK THE ROOM AND REPLY THAT IT IS BOOKED
we are using Outlook 200 Exchange 5.5 Windows nt4

No idea how you might do that, but wouldn't it be easier to setup a public calender/folder so ppl can just write in when they want it ?

Hi Jammic,

In Outlook XP (I think this holds in 2000 also), go to Tools/Options/Calendar Optoions/Advanced Options/Resource Scheduling

Check the Automatically accept meeting requests and process cancellations box.

This should sort it.

Cheers,

Stair
