Hello everyone,
I have just bought this book Exam prep A+ ( Carolis )
220-201 / 220-202 Third edition. Will this book help me with my certifacation which I'm planning to take at the end of this month or should I purchase another book.
Any recomendations on the books for study guide?
Thank you.

Exam Prep by Coriolis is good. Mike Myers All-in-One book is good. I never try to limit myself to only one study resource. Pick up a couple of study guides at Examnotes and Cramsession. Don't forget to grab the exam objectives from CompTIA. There are lots of free practice exams available on the Net.

The adaptive exam will die on Sept 12th. After that the exam will be in the traditional format with 80 questions/ 90 minutes.

Good Luck!

Thank you Glister for your reply. I will do that.
So this book I bought is not out of date?
Thanks again.

The A+ objectives have just gone under a revision. The new objectives will become effective on or about Nov. 1st. The A+ exam will go back to traditional format on Sept. 12 with new unscored questions to be added for a beta period until the new exam takes over after Nov.

If you take the A+ exam soon, the book should cover everything pretty well. If you wait much longer, I would advise you to check the CompTIA web site for the new 2003 objectives.
