Bond multiple ADSL lines

Guys,
just wondering is this possible with a Cisco Router or do I need a specialized device?

A customer has three ADSL lines into their office from different ISPs and they'd like to be able to use all three for internet access on their LAN.

Is it possible somehow to bond all three lines so it appears as one grand broadband connection?

VRRP should work.
GLBP as well.

Hey imbadatthis,
thanks for the reply. I know all about VRRP and how it uses an IP address for two interfaces. I'm just a bit lost as to how to implement two ISPs Modems.

Basically I have a Modem/Router from each ISP.

Could I just connect them into a Cisco Routers ethernet interfaces?

each interface( or subinterface) should be connected to one of the ISPs then you can just setup VRRP.

|---> ISP1
internal --> [Router]--|
|---> ISP2

Do I need any info from my ISPs?

And what Cisco Router hardware would you suggest as I'm trying to do this as economically as possible?

Lastly,
will this implementation of VRRP load balance internet traffic or will it just chose one ISP always above the other similar to redundancy?

you'll have to use GLBP if you want load balancing.

VRRP and HSRP will elect one router and use it until it become unavailable.

you wont need any extra info from your ISP .

thanks again. So I can configure my cisco router/ switch to do GLBP on the two interfaces my ISPs are connected into.
