Bolding entries in a column in Crystal 8

Is there a way to BOLD the value in a column based on it's value. For instance: if a column has "Female" and "Male" values, bolding all the "Male" entries to draw focus.

In Crystal 10 & Crystal 8.5, you'd right-click and choose 'format field'. Choose the [Font] tab and the formula next to [Style]. (The formula icon is x+2 and a pencil)

Once you get into the x+2 formula area, you would use a formula like:

if currentfieldvalue = "Male" then crBold else crRegular
