On the SETTINGS -> METRICS page in the CMC we have 6 reports showing-up under the "WAITING" category (don't know how long they have been like this).

We have thousands of Reports in the "PENDING" category - but that is what we would expect as most of our INSTANCES run during off-hours.

I can't seem to find any way to determine with the CMC or using the APOS InstanceManager tool which specific instances are in the "WAITING" category - and why.

All my JobServers appear to be running OK, so I don't think anything is HUNG.

Anyone have a clear definition of the "Pending" vs. "Waiting" status - and a method to determine which specific instances are in the "WAITING" category - and why....?

It's not a critical issue - but it's bugging me...

Thanks is advance for the advice.

Just checked the course documentation for the BECP ... can't find anything more specific there.

I'll keep looking.

I wonder if waiting = paused? You could use the Instance Manager in the Admin tools to check. Or you could run a query in the query tool to check for instances where status is not Success or Pending.
