Hi all
Im new to the whole bcm50 system, but im learning the system as i go.
I can log in and make changes with no issues ect.

We have a BCM50B with 2 ISDN sets attached to the main unit, and the ISDN BRI expansion with 1 ISDN set. All of these lines have the same number and all work fine.
We have 2 other ISDN sets on another number, one of which i have patched into the system, the status led is on to say they are connected and when set to the same pool as the other 3 ISDN are used to dial out with no issue.
My problem comes on incoming calls, the BCM monitor shows the call comes in and shows "alerting" in red, but then disconnects the call with a busy tone without ringing any phones.

Any help you can provide will be greatly received

Rick

How long does it go into the alerting stage? If it's just for a second that means the call has no where to go. This can be caused by a required entry being missing or being incorrect.

Check your settings under Loops and Application DNs in EM... Also can you post a screen shot of your BCM monitor whilst monitoring UIPs for this coonection? That would help with diagnosing.

Have you put the receive digits against a Target line.
Then programme the target line to ring at your chosen extn number.
Line set to auto answer.

The other method is to put the physical line as a line appearance to appear and ring, and set it to manual answer on your extn.

You guys were spot on.

After reading your posts i was able to locate the areas where it needed the numbers entering and changing.

It now rings where its needed.

Like a fool i thought it might just acccept any incoming calls by default.
