Blurry print

I tried a search....but it's down and the HP site sucks!

HP4050N is printing really blurry jobs. I already did the cleaning page, etc.

Could it be the toner? It's brand new!

If the machine is in a dusty enviroment the mirrors on the laser unit could be dirty and will cause light distorted print. Good Luck CW

But I would try a different toner first. They do come defective at times.

Blur print can sometimes be caused by a scanner fault, however this should have given an error code?

First thing I would do is try the test pages from the printer, just to make sure that h=it is a hardware fault My advice is limited to my personal opinion, and the information I have been provided with. Paul Melarkey
