Anyone using Bluetooth headsets with IP Softphone? If so, are you using that same headset with a mobile phone? How has this worked for you? I'm trying to stay ahead of our salesforce who has a couple of these devices for their mobile phones and would like to use them with IP Softphone.

If you use the softphone with VPN for remote users then the bluetooth will do fine.
Its not wise to use it on a normal desktop, a standard phone is much more reliable.
The only disadvantage is that after connecting the bluetooth device it must be first set as the default audio device ( not all devices can be set as a default audio device!) before starting the softphone.

Which bluetooth headset have you used that can be set to an audio device in the first place? I cant seem to find any.

I've been monkeying around with a nxZEN Plus headset - I've set it up as the default audio device within IP soft phone. I can't, however, get the headset to answer a call - I still have to use the soft phone GUI to pick up the call. Once I've done that, I can take the call on the headset. I had the same experience with a Blue Parrot headset as well.
