Has anybody got a T68i and 3 com 3CRW6096 bluetooth card to work properly under Xp.

The longest I've got the 2 to actually connect using DUN, is about 1 second - they connect and then disconnect immediately.

BUT - using the XTNDconnect software I can synchronize with Outlook OK.

Latest drivers, connection manager etc installed.

3com and Ericsson no help at all..........any ideas except throwing both card and fone into the bin?

Yes, I have, but as you say, it isn´t very stable, but I have been connected fo hours downloading several MB. I have a Thinkpad 600 a T68i and 3CRW6096. What I have found is that the USB Dongle is VERY much more stable. I have been thinking about why 3COM isn´t releasing a better driver, and I guess they are waiting for the native Win XP Bluetooth driver. which should come before christmas.

At the time you posted this message ericsson/ Sonyericsson handsets were not compatible with 3com software. 3com have now released a new patch to remedy this. Contact 3com now and get the latest bluetooth software patch and you will find you will have no problem at all with either data connectivity or synchronisation with XTNDconnectPC. Wireless guru
