blue screen

I have been having 'blue screens' I have recorded my latest error below. I have the latest bios (pentium 4 P5AD5 prem ddr2 ram running with winxp pro sp2)
any help would be gr8!!
** Also i have had blue screens with a cdfs.sys error.
I seem to get the error intamitantly when i request to use cd players or play video content.

If the error occurred after installing a device driver or application, try using Safe Mode and removing the driver or program.

To check your RAM.


To check your Hard Drive.

The drive manufacturer will have free diagnostic software to check your drive for problems.


To check your drivers.

Some general things to try.

See if System Restore will get you back to a restore point before your problem with Windows.

Try Safe Mode (Do you have this problem in Safe Mode?).


Run the System File Checker program from the Run Box by typing.....Sfc /Scannow in it and have your XP CD handy.

If they don't work you could try repairing windows itself by running it over itself. You will lose all your windows updates but your files will be untouched.

My best is that it is a Norton AV problem, if that is used. The full debugging session (preferably with the large DUMP model used) would show the source.
