Blue Screen when accessing a file on a DFS Share

We have installed W2K Professional (en) on our notebooks with SP4. On some notebooks when you try to access a file on a DFS Share the machine crashes with a Blue Screen. It appears just if you select the file. Browsing through directories on the share is possible as well as copying files to the dfs share. Only if you select files no matter which one the system crashes. If you access the same file directly on the netbios share which is under the DFS Link the file access is possible.

It seems that the problem only appears in one location. We already installed the notebook again with W2K it didn't help. Any ideas?

Unfortunately there is no entry in the event viewer.
