I have a problem with my hp laptop 550.when i switched it on this morning it suddenly display blue screen error before i have try to system recovery but yet the error is still there and i don't want to lose my data.Can any body tell me on how to resolve the isssue of blue screen error.

Can you tell us.
1. When do you see the Blue screen? After the computer has fully booted up? After a period of time (how long), when you perform some action e.g starting Internet explorer or some other application.
2. Exactly what the Error message is, that you see on the Blue screen?

Does it boot in to Safe Mode?
Does it boot if you remove all easily detached hardware such as USB etc?
