Bloody microsoft mouse driver

I bought a msoft inteli mouse brand new and I installed the driver that came on the cd provided which i obviously shunt of done because its messed the mouse up if I move the mouse to fast from the left of the screen to the right of the screen it doesnt go there it starts going the other way I have uninstalled the driver but it still facks up so it basicly does the opposite of what I say

my answer to this would have to be.Format!

Hmmm..I seem to recall a problem with Windows 2000 and that mouse. Try downloading the latest drivers from MS.

im currently runnin 98se i no if i hadnt put the free software on that came with it i wouldnt have this prob, but ive removed it and its screwed my operatin sys up coz its still fukced!

Is a usb mouse? There are problems with 98SE using the usb port when you're using AMD processors. There's a patch on the microsoft site that fixes problems. Just a thought - I went through a lot of trouble trying to get a new usb intellimouse working in my system.
