A system has two internal extension ranges, e.g. 2XX and 5XX.
Is there a way that you can bar the 2XX users dialling the 5XX users?
I have tried various user and system short codes, but the IPO always matches the extension first before going to the short codes.

Getting into supported/not supported discussions....

No, it is not supported (as far as i can tell).

BUT, if you have a dial 9 or any dial access code, it does work to create a short code of:
5XX
Barred
Line group 0

Put that in the user short codes...

You need the dial access code though, remove that, and the solution breaks.

It depends on the system dial delay time and dial count, type of phones and the intelligence of the users for it to work.
Somehow.
Basically it does work only partially.
