Is there a way to block a specific incoming number into a Nortel switch. I can block outgoing calls but I need a specific phone blocked for incoming calls to three of our DID's. I'd rather not take the DID's out of the switch and make them POTS lines.

You could define those ddi numbers in the idc table, (LD49),to go to say a message. Otherwise, I don't know of a way of preventing an extn from receiving an i/c call.

You are asking about blocking my number from calling you?
(example). I am not sure of a way to do this. You can block extensions (DID) from receiving calls, but I don't think you can block a PSTN phone number from dialing you.

That would need to be done at the LEC, using "Call Blocking".

Hope this helps.
