Basic question: Is there a way to program a 61C to dis-allow incoming DID calls on a certain directory number, but yet allow on-campus calls to that same number, short of contacting the phone company and having them block that DID number?
Background: We have a certain DID number that is the originator number for a Tellabs preset conference unit. The Tellabs unit has one originate station (the DID number) and nine analog phones as answer-only stations. When any user dials this number, the Tellabs unit automatically rings nine specific analog "hotline" phones, and those stations ring independantly until answered or until they time-out. The option of using a different phone number for this application is not an option - it has to be what it is, and cannot be changed to a non-DID number. The problem we are having is periodic telemarket calls coming in from off-campus setting off the Tellabs unit. We would like to be able to prevent this by programming on the 61C rather than having to go through the phone company. Any suggestions?
