How would I block a win 98 pc from accessing external web addresses, while maintaining the access to internal web addresses?

then i would suggest buying a program such as Superscout or getting a different router. The linksys products do support this under the filters tab.

You can restrict the use of IE using the Security Policy Editor. The following link is a tutorial for using it. It is geared toward a school but can be adapted easily.

Use the Content Advisor to lock IE to only access intranet sites. Here are instructions.
