i'm looking to prevent the name/numbers from a few generic extn's being sent when they make an outgoing call (internal). Looks like i have to created a couple of Common Service Profiles with the NPRES =010. Is there an easier way such as the customer can switch it on and off by themselves?

BC10, generic extensions.

thanks

hammer.

Do you mean from the telephone instrument itself ?

I don't think this can be done from the instrument. Alcatel phones can do this , would have been nice feature for MD110 as well.
Patcher ?

the generic phone logs on to a normal DTS phone. I changed the additional category on this DTS phone with extn mgr which sent the following:

KSCAC:DIR=XXXXX,ADC=00010000000;

This i thought would block the callers number being displayed. User reports no change(number is displayed) but i'm getting them to log out and back in again to re-check.

Should the ADC parameter above work?

thanks,

bill

The ADC only works for the hardwired phone. I created a new Common Service Profile where i changed NPRES =010. This works and the called user gets a message that the user wants to change to something like 'private' Anyone info on how to change this message and is it global?

thanks,

hammer

finding it hard to see where this is set.
GETSP:STRNO=MIS11 SHOWS "Unlisted" but thats not what i'm getting. I'm getting a text string that relates to a particular group or site but that message defeats the object or barring the CLI info from being displayed.

Anyone with suggestions?
