Change the calling permissions on the COR of your incomming trunks so that they cannot call the COR of the extension you wish to block incomming calls on. You may want to create a new cor for the extension you are blocking as not to disrupt other extensions that may have the same cor as the extension you are blocking.
I have already created a new COR with "Called Party Restriction" set to =Inward. This works good because our other offices can call this extension via a tie line. However, the only draw back is that I can't get an outside call to our switchboard to be transferred to that extension. I have tried the "Manual" setting also, but it will not work. I have successfully blocked an outside call through our auto attendant- it will not allow Audix to transfer to the extension.
The setting that I referred to in the previous respons is on page 3 of the COR form. This allows you to restrict a facility to call another that at a COR level.

As you can see from the setting above any facility with a COR of 2 can call any other facility with any other COR EXCEPT COR 58. So if you change this field on the COR of your icomming trunk group then calls comming in on that trunk group will not be able to reach facilities with the specific COR that you have disallowed. While at the same time any other COR's will not be affected. Make sure that The COR for the stations that you are trying to block is unique as to not disrupt other services. It sounds to me that if you do this you should have no problem with your tie-lines being able to call the stations you wish to block incomming calls on and that all internal calls will not be affected.
I'm trying to do the same thing. I want to block an inbound call from a particular caller or at least redirect him to the point that he pulls his hair out.
I don't have a "add vrt" or "cha vrt" on my Definity with CM1.3. Any other suggestions ? I do have vectors though, as I use them for conference/brigding.
I've found that I can only use VRT's under my cust login ID.
Do you have any EC500 licenses? There is a really EASY way to block inbound calls via EC500 on thread690-543688.
