How do I remove the outgoing facility for an extn in Nortel BCM 450?
Steps for doing this?
-BCU

You need to log on via the Element Manager tool and go into the restriction filter area to either create or modify a filter to allow or restrict certain outgoing numbers. Once the filter has been altered, then that filter needs to be changed against the extensions settings.

I'm not sure if the instructions are included in the attached file. You should also be able to change the barring via access using a extension phone that is compatible.

I created a restriction filter under call security and how do I assign that restriction filter to the corresponding telephone set?

It's the tab beside Capabilities

Note some other restrictions you might consider adding:
0
10
411
900
976

I think the OP is looking to restrict all outgoing calls from a DN. In which case remove all lines from the phone and remove the DN from line pool access.

I have removed the line but still the user is able to make calls outside. How do I remove the DN from line pool Access.I see BlocB under the line pool Access for that particular DN. Do I need to delete that BlocB (Line pool Access)?

After doing the changes in line pool access, o/g were blocked.
Thanks for your help.
