Is it possible to block a specific number from dialing out from the 4K V5?
Thanks in advance.

Can I assume you want to block your phones from dialling a specific number ?

Or is it that you want to block an extension number from dialling out to long distance and so on?

I would like to block all the phones from being able to call one specific number.
Not a range or prefix just one number.
Not sure if this can be done, or how difficult it is to do so.

Thank you

What I do for that, even though I consider it sloppy programming, is make a dialing rule string for just that one number and send it to some trunk group that has no trunks in it....

Yes I had this on a site previously.
One (unidentified) user ringing a number and that person was complaining.
So I added in a new route (RICHT/LODR/LDAT/LDPLN) and sent that number off to the speaking clock.
So when that number was dialed the caller just got the speaking clock instead of annoying someone.

If you REG-RICHT:LRTE;

Add a new RICHT using a new RICHT number.

Say for example new RICHT 100

Add LODR 100

ADD-LODR:100,,,,OUTPULSE,SPEAKING CLOCK NUMBER HERE;
ADD-LODR:100,,,,END;
ADD-LODR:100,,,ROUTE TO SPEAKING CLOCK;

REG-LDAT of working Route

add in a new LDAT 100 with LODR 100 in it.

Add a new LDPLN with the specific number in that but send it to RICHT/LDAT 100

Awesome, It worked.
Thank you all for your quick response.

Praise god and pass the ammo,
Cowboy
