Site B makes and recieves PSTN calls via PRI Tie from Site A.

Site B sets are all using NCOS 1 for call restrictions however they are still able to dial long distance via Site A which really they should only be able to dial locally.

Printed out an NPA and confirmed using RLI 0. When I go to RLI 0, shows the correct tie to Site A.

Site A and B are not using Authcodes. Should I change all NPA's to use RLI 4 and then those sets that need to dial LD set to use NCOS 4?

Been awhile, but I believe you are on the right track. The NCOS of the phone has to be equal or greater than the FRL on the RLI for that phone to access that trunk. The NCOS 1 users should only be able to access the RLI with an FRL of 1.

Not sure what your Printouts are from but sounds about right. Do all NXX and NPA's use the same RLI at Site B? Normally they don't which will allow you restriction flexibility.

Just confirmed that whoever was administering this system left LD wide open.

I will now be going through all the NPA's and changng their RLI's....joy joy joy

Thanks for the help.
