Have 8.5 cluster across several locations. Users DID, 3040, matches the last 4 on the main PRI billing number (differant prefix)and is getting calls routed to them. Ex. main billing number is 446.3040, and the DID of phone is 687.3040. Since main billing number resides on PSTN PRI, seems call manager see's a phone labeled 3040 and dumps calls there. Need to find way to either block inbound calls to that main billing number or re-route somehow. Any ideas, short of changing out users phone DID? Thanks

are the two numbers coming in the same PRI? You would use calling search spaces and translation patterns to achieve what you need.
It sounds like your css are flat right now causing you the above issue.

Thanks for the reply. Yes both numbers are coming in on same pri. Ome is just the lead billing number for the circuit and doesn't terminate anywhere, and the other DID sits on a phone.
Can you eloborate on what you mean when you said the css are flat? I'm assuming this means they're generic with nothing special correct?
Thanks again

If both DID's are coming in on the same circuit and both have receiving DNIS digits of 3040 then you can't distinguish one from the other or route them differently. That's basic telephony rules and nothing to do with your phone system.
Two ways to fix this:
1-Ask the provider to change the DNIS send to you for the unused (BTN) to something else, unused and not matching anything else.
2- Change your digits received from 4 to 7.

The first would be the easiest and fastest and would not require any call manager changes.
