Client is on 10.1 Telagility platform and would like to block calls on demand when calling out. I checked the 'Anonymous' box under Users>SIP and that works but can that be toggled via a button or short code? etc.

Is *67 not an option if I leave room for the extra 3 digits in the ARS?

What kind of phones? On the 9600 series sets it's available to toggle on/off at a user level by using Features > Call Settings > Withhold Number

9608's. Is that only through the features menu or can that be programmed to a button?

As far as I know, it can't be done through a button although the process to activate it through features is very simple and takes about 11 seconds.

Create a new URI on your SIP line and in the Local URI field type in Anonymous and use a different outgoing group ID than your main URI. Create a new ARS table that routes calls to the new URI's outgoing group ID. If you are using 9 as your dial access code create a new short code that uses a different number or *9 or something and route it to your new ARS table.

Thanks, I did that and let the client know to try it with an 8 (I used 8 for this). He hasn't reported back yet.

Worked! thanks!
